Business Alumni Mentoring Program - The University of Sydney Business School. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience within our Business School alumni community. We believe engaging students during their study with this community offers a unique opportunity for our students to be inspired and learn from the experiences of our alumni. It also provides the chance for our alumni to give back to the Business School community, and to contribute to the development of aspiring business leaders. The Business Alumni Mentoring Program was launched on 1. June, 2. 01. 5, by the Dean of the Business School, Professor Gregory Whitwell. This program matches business professionals with current students in a setting where our alumni can provide relevant business input into career planning and decision making. The program runs for six months from May to November, with monthly one- on- one meetings scheduled between mentors and mentees. How to apply? The 2. Business Alumni Mentoring Program applications are now closed. We welcome applications from students in all disciplines who would like to gain insight into their career development. Priority will be given to students who: have a pass to credit averageare in their final year of Undergraduate studydo not already belong to another University of Sydney mentoring programhave not already secured a graduate positionhave not participated in the Industry Placement Programhave not participated in an overseas internship program. All Business School students are eligible and encouraged to apply for this program. What’s involved? Successful applicants will be matched with mentors, taking into account areas of study, interests, experience and goals.
